Mictlantecuhtli is the Aztec god of the dead. With his wife, Mictecacíhuatl, he ruled Mictlan, the underworld. The souls of those whose manner of death failed to call them to various paradises (i.e., for those dead by war, sacrifice, childbirth, drowning, lightning, and certain diseases) made a four-year journey, fraught with trials, through the nine hells of Mictlan. In the last, where Mictlantecuhtli lived, they disappeared or found rest.

Specifically crafted for rituals, spell work, & anything in association with the god Mictlantecuhtli, we steep herbs that are associated and known to be favored by him. When purchased, we hand pour his oil into your selected sized vial/bottle and add his favorite herbs, essential oils, and crystals. Ritual oils can be used to aid in spell work, manifestation, and your mood. Use them to anoint your offerings to him, their altar, tools, candles, spells, items, or yourself to carry Mictlantecuhtli's energy. Also safe to use in the bath and on your skin.
