Oshun, or Osun, is an orisha (deity) of the Yoruba people of southwestern Nigeria. She is typically associated with purity, water, abundance, fertility, love, and sensuality. She is most commonly called the river orisha, or goddess, in the Yoruba religion. She is also considered to be one of the most powerful orishas. Oshun is especially attentive to women and creates very meaningful relationships with those pregnant or wanting to become pregnant.
